The Cumberland County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Monday, March 23, at 6:30 p.m. to receive community input regarding potential policy and zoning considerations related to data center development in Cumberland County. The meeting will take place in Room 118 of the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse and will include a dedicated public comment period.
During the Feb. 12 Agenda Session, Commissioners requested the additional meeting to ensure residents have a focused opportunity to share questions, comments and concerns about how data center development should be guided through County policy and zoning frameworks. The meeting is intended to gather community input as the Board considers how future data center development may be addressed through County regulations.
All feedback, whether submitted in advance or shared in person, will be provided directly to the Board and considered as part of the discussion.
