Focus Pointe Learning Academy was founded by Viranda Deshields, a former educator. Viranda is a wife and mother of 2 children. After graduating from North Carolina Central University in Durham North Carolina, she began her career teaching kindergarten. While working in the classroom she realized that she could do more if she was able to serve the children at a younger age. Viranda believes that every child should be afforded the opportunity to have a nurturing environment to grow and develop. She’s affectionately known as Ms. V to the students and families she serves. Her infectious smile and sense of humor resonate throughout the facility. Focus Pointe Learning Academy strives to create a welcoming environment for children to grow in a positive manner.
