Coordinator of Career and College Promise

Fayetteville Technical Community College is recruiting for a new member to join our Student Services Team and now accepting applications for a full-time Coordinator of Career and College Promise.

The Coordinator will oversee the institution’s dual enrollment High School Connections program. This includes, but is not limited to supervising the High School Connections staff and supporting dually enrolled students throughout their time as a student at FTCC.

We’re looking for a visionary leader to lead our Career and College Promise Team. This Coordinator position involves strategic leadership of FTCC’s dual enrollment program. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, experience working with dual enrollment students, and a passion for education. Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Public Relations, Public Administration, Business Administration, Counseling or related field and four years of experience in providing and coordinating advising or counseling services to students in an academic setting.
  • Experience working in an educational institution, higher education or K-12, with the ability to understand academic policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Experience with interpretation and application of state regulations.
  • Experience leading and managing staff members.
  • Experience with records management and computerized student record systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Student Services, or related area. Possess experience with dual enrollment programs.
