Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) is seeking a highly organized, professional, and proactive Executive Assistant to the President. This position plays a vital role in supporting the President’s Office by providing high-level administrative assistance, managing confidential information, coordinating executive communications, and serving as a liaison between the President and internal/external stakeholders.
The Executive Assistant to the President provides high-level, confidential administrative and executive support to the President of Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC). This role serves as the primary liaison between the President’s Office and the Executive Council, internal campus stakeholders (including students), the Board of Trustees, the NC Community College System Office, government agencies, and community/business partners.
The position supports the President in coordinating college operations, governance functions, policy compliance, and advancing FTCC’s mission, goals, and strategic priorities to drive student success and produce a Future Ready workforce aligned with the economic needs of Cumberland County, the region, and North Carolina. The Executive Assistant receives direct supervision from the President and exercises supervisory responsibility over technical, paraprofessional staff, and student workers.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities).
- 3–5 years of progressively responsible administrative and executive-level support.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in the North Carolina Community College System, state government, or public higher education administration.
