Financial Aid Advisor
Fayetteville Technical Community College is recruiting for a new member to join our Student Services Team and now accepting applications for a full-time Financial Aid Advisor!
The Financial Aid Advisor serves as a primary contact for students, parents, and college personnel with any financial aid or related questions; schedules and conducts individual and group appointments with students and/or parents; assists students and families with the completion of paper and electronic financial aid application processes, and submission of required/necessary paperwork; advises students and families regarding financial aid programs, provides good counsel, makes good professional judgments, and provides quality service; performs judgments on affirmative Satisfactory Academic Progress appeals; performs and/or coordinates the completion of various tasks involved in the production of award packages, income/asset verification, and authorizing payment with respect to all programs administered within the Financial Aid Office; to provide high level administrative support to the Assistant Director (and Director) of Financial Aid, to coordinate assigned activities with other college divisions, federal and state agencies, and other institutions; to provide Federal Direct Stafford loan counseling to students and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- An Associate’s degree from an accredited college with major course work in accounting or a closely related field; or equivalent.
- Two years of increasingly responsible general clerical experience including one year of accounting clerical or related experience.
