Administrative Assistant I – Facilities

Fayetteville Technical Community College is recruiting for a new member to join our Facilities Services Team and now accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant I!

The Administrative Assistant I will provide technical expertise and a wide variety of responsible, confidential, and complex administrative assistance to the Vice President. To assist in planning, organizing and directing the activities within the Vice President’s Office. To research, collect, analyze, and summarize fiscal, managerial, and statistical data. To research data, compile data, and design and prepare statistical/data spreadsheets and executive-level reports utilizing the computer system.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:
  • Three years of increasingly responsible experience in administrative support involving advanced knowledge of a variety of software applications, to include Microsoft Office Suite and an Associate’s degree in Office Technology or related field.
Training:
  • An Associate’s degree from an accredited college in Business, Office Administration, or a related field; or equivalent.
License or Certificate:
  • Must have a valid North Carolina driver’s license which requires five (5) years of driving experience with no more than one (1) minor accident or violation in the past three (3) years.
