New Carolina HealthWorks plan offers small employers big-business health benefits through partnership with NC Chamber and Blue Cross NC
FAYETTEVILLE, NC (November 4, 2025) — The Greater Fayetteville Chamber has launched a new, affordable health insurance option to help small businesses provide quality coverage for their employees.
Through a partnership with the NC Chamber and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC), Chamber members now have access to Carolina HealthWorks, a program that allows small employers to band together and purchase health insurance at more competitive rates.
“Health insurance is one of the biggest challenges our small business members face,” said Nat Robertson, President and CEO of the Greater Fayetteville Chamber. “Carolina HealthWorks gives them an affordable option to take care of their employees without breaking their budget.”
The program, recently approved by the North Carolina Department of Insurance and administered by Blue Cross NC with support from Consoliplex, is available to Chamber member businesses with 2 to 50 employees. Enrollment opened November 1 and remains available year-round.
Through Blue Cross NC’s statewide provider network, participating businesses can offer employees high-quality care close to home.
“Programs like this are why belonging to the Greater Fayetteville Chamber matters,” added Robertson. “We’re giving small businesses the same kind of buying power as large corporations.”
Small businesses can access Carolina HealthWorks by joining the Greater Fayetteville Chamber at www.faybiz.com.
