Cooperative Extension Greek Cooking Workshop April 10
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Cooperative Extension offers an international cooking workshop featuring Greek dishes on April 10, from 12 – 2 p.m. at the Cooperative Extension office, located at 301 E. Mountain Dr., Fayetteville.
Greece has one of the oldest gastronomic traditions in the world. Every Greek recipe includes a combination of fresh ingredients. Pillars of Greek cuisine are olive oil, wine, fruits, vegetables, honey, fish and lamb. Most Greek dishes include spices like mint, basil, cumin, cinnamon, coriander, oregano and saffron. Join the Cooperative Extension staff and prepare classic Greek dishes like Greek Salad, Pastitsio, and Imam Bayildi.
Registration and a $20 fee are due by April 5. The preferred way to register is via Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/
