Dr. McDonald is Chief Executive Officer of McDonald and Associates, LLC, a consulting firm focused on improving organizations and individuals through leadership development. He has extensive experience in Entertainment, Health Care and Higher Education.
He held leadership positions in Higher Education, Politics, Civic Affairs and Healthcare Organizations.
He was widely recognized for his work in the NC Jaycees. He held offices in the Jaycees at the local, state, and national levels, and was active in the development of the North Carolina Jaycee Memorial Burn Center at UNC Chapel Hill. Based upon his service to his local community and the state, he was awarded, at the age of 26 by then Governor James B Hunt, Jr,, North Carolina’s highest civilian award, The Order of the Long Leaf Pine.
