Join the Greater Fayetteville Chamber's Government Relations Committee for an engaging and informative Candidates Forum, where candidates running for office will present their positions on a range of important topics.
This event offers a unique opportunity for the public to hear directly from those seeking to represent them, ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of each candidate's vision and policies.
The event is open to Chamber members and the community and free of charge. The Candidates Forum is a valuable platform for community members to become informed voters and participate in the democratic process.
This forum will be moderated by our Government Relations Chair Peter Pappas and will have Chamber Ambassador Joseph Dowless serving as time keeper. Questions will be asked round robin style by seasoned media partners including Bill Kirby Jr. of CityView Media, Myron Pitts of The Fayetteville Observer and Bill Bowman of Up & Coming Weekly.
Running for mayor will be current Mayor Mitch Colvin, who is seeking a fifth term, and Mayor Pro Tem Kathy Keefe Jensen, who has served on the council since 2015.
