About Us

Founded in 2019, the Fayetteville Woodpeckers are the Single-A affiliate of the Houston Astros and are owned and operated by their Major League club. The Woodpeckers play their home games at Segra Stadium, the premier entertainment venue in eastern North Carolina located in the heart of Downtown Fayetteville. Members of the 12-team Carolina League, the Woodpeckers play a 132 game season, with 66 home games. League opponents include the affiliates of the Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves, Washington Nationals, and Chicago Cubs.

Outside of baseball season, the Fayetteville Woodpeckers host a variety of events at Segra Stadium including NCAA Baseball, Pecktoberfest craft beer festival, the Walk to End Alzheimer's, and Holiday Lights. The stadium is available to rent for private events year-round!
